Gigante d' Inverno Spinach

Very large, glossy, dark green, pointed leaves teeming with taste and texture. The broad, textured leaves which often reach 10 inches in length are sturdy enough to serve as a wrap, yet tender enough for a salad.

This mild-flavored, Italian heirloom is big on size, nutrients and fiber. As with all members of the spinach family, it’s high in vitamins A and C. Loaded with minerals including calcium, magnesium and phosphorous as well as an antioxidants such as carotenoids.
