Red Malabar Spinach

Although not a true spinach, the red stems and delicious, succulent leaves from this vine are great in salads and stir-fries. The leaves and stems are used the most in cooking, although the stems tend to have a unique texture.

Young leaves are best in sandwiches, for use as a soup thickener (especially if you use the stems), or stir-fried.

Contains same vitamins and minerals as other spinaches.
